Bekal is an intimate yet punk-inspired concept. Cool beats and a relaxed vibe set the tone, evoking the warmth of an authentic tavern. But the bold fire mural on the wall makes a statement—this isn’t just another stuffy restaurant.

Our Menu
Our menu is switching seasonally with whatever is fresh and in sync with nature.
If we can't find it, we dry it, pickle it, ferment it, or conserve it in any way possible to save all the flavors and textures.
There’s always good prime meat, sometimes fish, fresh veggies and greens, fermented fruit and berries, silky creams, and fine but never too sweet desserts.
At Bekal, we are creating innovative food with a fairly traditional approach that always tells a story.
Pricing
There is no a la carte menu. We serve a unique seasonal 6-meal course for 50€ per person.
Bekal offers a well-crafted regional biodynamic and organic wine list that accompanies all the flavors of the menu.
Meet Marko Turkovic
Marko’s gray hair is just a reminder of the diverse experiences that have shaped his culinary philosophy throughout the years.
He comes from small and humble roots on an isolated Croatian island of Korcula, where tradition and home cooking is a lifestyle deeply embedded into the community.
He was always a virtuoso, and his immense culinary journey from a young age took him through some of the best restaurants in Europe, from small intimate trattorias to Michelin-star gigants.
At Bekal, chef Marko fashioned a relaxing space where his vision and creativity can truly shine, offering guests a never-to-be-forgotten dining experience.
